Heads up! Westbound thru Rochester, NY
Author: CR6444

I have a cell call from my buddy Ken Gentzke from Rochester, NY stating that he bagged 2 SLRG F40PH's in yellow and maroon paint with Rio Grande towing dead in tow west of Rochester at this hour.

Destination is to SLRG railroad.. Good luck to you all.. Thanks to Ken Gentzke for snapping these photos, he has no camera this time, but with his trusty Blackberry, hes happy!

Ken said that the units were picked up at Rochester yard from AMI in Dansville, NY (Rochester Southern) so its more likely Q625 (Syracuse-Buffalo) Q377 doesnt do Rochester...

Thanks

Q625 doesn't exist anymore, that was Q381.

Are those are the Mother Slug F40s?

459 is the mother, 227 is the slug. 459 is a rebuilt F40PH with the nose shortened and added front porch.
