They have new crossties all along the track from Monroe, NC, south to at least US521 in SC. Now the question. I notice from time to time gondola's going east with new crossties, anyone know where they go to be treated with creosote?

There are creosoting plants at a number of locations around the country. Koppers Industries is one major player in this business.
