I went north of Columbus last night to try and watch meteors. I kept getting distracted by trains. First two shots are on private property near Delaware, Ohio, I had permission from the farmer to be there. Third show is near the Waldo grain elevator.

Nice pictures. In your 2nd photo, what's that in the upper left corner? Was that a meteor? I've never photographed one.

Re. The second picture. The string of lights in the 2nd photo is of an airplane's lights.
During a time exposure the red and green lights blink off and on, and the white navigation
light on the rear is on all the time. Hence, the "beads on a string" appearance.
