What's better than an EB Train @ Deshler?

A west bound knocking down E Deshler as the EB clears the diamond. I never tire of these meets.

What\'s better than an EB in Deshler?

How about a northbound from the west at Sterling...yep. Better.

Well if you stay out until 3-4 in the morning you\'ll see Q354 go north, and of course it\'s worth it to see his great power (2 gp-38\'s) lol Cleveland Sub is better Tony :) Q167 out

not much, unless its a westbound like an X201 mercedes train bound for southern california with some wild power from BNSF,UP,or another western road like KCS or MRL. Or Q351 with a CNW or SP leading!

...Q351 with a CNW or SP leading

Don\'t forget 30 pounds of chicken all ready to eat. Perfect afternoon sun to capture that Q351. Your grandson with a fresh diaper changed by someone else... and on and on and on. :-)

CNW maybe, but probably not SP
Author: toledopatch

Wouldn\'t count on seeing too many SP\'s leading. The lead units on the Q390/Q351 trains are usually cab-signal equipped for operation over the C&NW main line west of Chicago.

Yes, Patch, but on at least two occasions I\'ve seen Q351 with a CSX SD50 leading a flock of UP power...

I saw that about a month ago, too, but I\'d bet the CSXT unit got cut off at Proviso.

Ok so how do I get a chart like this for Bound Brook, NJ or even Phillipsburg, NJ?

The return of the X500 trains - for purely self centered reasons of course! A close second would be the banishment of all SD40-2\'s & SD50\'s from the Toledo Sub...

Some getting the ATCS done for the TTRR would be good too! CSX getting it installed between Toledo and Columbus would be up there.

What?!?! Those SD\'s are great catches compared all those @#$% wide-nose GE\'s! ARGH!

What I wouldn\'t give for an SD-something on every train!

YES-YES, and also it would be nice to return the GP-7 & GP-9\'s and all the F & E units and the alco\'s also, And now to answer DRF\'s question, one thing come\'s to my mind, The ex- Wisconsin Central\'s nee- Milwaukee Road SDL-39\'s I saw running through Deshler this past summer on a hopper train.

Like Brian said, ARGH!!! Those @#$^%$#$* wide-nose unit\'s all look the same to me. What we need is some good old power brought back from the 60\'s & 70\'s.

Re: Q351 power
Author: CSX_CO

Now that 351 is inspected at Barr Yard, they could send out the crappiest power they have at Willard, it doesn\'t go straight to the UP anymore.

As long as Barr Yard has UP power laying around (which they usually do), just put the power on there.

351 is convient to run the UP power back on, but just count your blessings CSX does it. :o)

I tell ya, CSX can sure make a crap train out of anything. The MNPSK and MSKNP are hot trains on the UP side. Over on the CSX side, they work every terminal along the way (on the way back at least, going out is slightly different). Selkirk, Buffalo, Cleveland, Willard, Defiance, Garrett, and Chicago. Quality in slow motion...

Practice Safe CSX

Re: Q390

i think Q390 also works in rochester,ny. csx_co you\'re most definitely right, quality in slow motion, but as long as the train gets to the destination safely and the customers aren\'t complaining too much,it works.
