Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX 8900-series SD40-2sDate: 07/02/15 01:06 CSX 8900-series SD40-2s Author: rwt_rave_1225 Forgive me if this has been asked already and I missed out, but out of curiosity, has there been any word on the status of the group of SD40-2s CSX has received from NS in exchange for the SD80MACs? I know these SD40-2s had gone to Huntington, WV prior to being put into active service on CSX, and at least a few of them were put into a hybrid NS/CSX paint scheme (black, white trim, and gold letters), but I haven't heard about them in a number of months now. Are they in service and I perhaps have just been missing them ... Or are they still at the shops? Thanks!
