Eastern Railroad Discussion > BUCT on CSX's Trenton Line @ Belle Mead

Decided to video, only my second attempt, and photograph the Blue Unit's passage at the site of the former Reading Station in Belle Mead (NJ) on CSX's Trenton Line. I would let the video do its recording while I just took in this train's passing realizing there are only four more opportunities for me to see this train here in central NJ. After that it is as Arlo Guthrie sang "...This train got the disappearing railroad blues." Motive power was CSX 5323 and CSX 3254.

As for future videos I have been planning my next locations for the BU's Trenton to Richmond move, the Charleston to Uniondale (NY) move possibly over NS's Lehigh Line and Uniondale to Florida move. In addition there will be the RU's Providence to Florida move. After that, sad to say, the circus train will be history.

Pattenburg - great choice in adding the video to your location.  I enjoyed seeing it. 

     Okay, what is a BUCT ?

BUCT = Blue Unit Circus Train and RUCT would be Red Unit Circus Train.

At 36 passenger cars that has to be one of the longest passenger trains in America, ever...
I wonder if the passenger cars will be sold once the trains no longer run...?
