Passenger Trains > Has #49 Left Albany ?

Track A Train shows the train is at Rensselaer as of 8:45 pm. Normal departure from Albany is
7:05 pm. 49 and 49 arrived Albany on time.

Amtrak's Train Status site does not show a departure time for 49 tonight but estimates arrival Utica 8:50 pm

Hope there is not a mechanical problem or some accident or whatever

Interestingly, one site says train 49 left Albany at 9:17 pm but got to Utica at 8:47 pm.......time warp!

Boston passengers really got the shaft since #449 arrived Albany at 4:41 pm. 49 left Albany
9:17 pm which means the passengers waited 4 hrs., 48 mins. Afters 9 hrs., 22 mins. they had only traveled 200 miles.
I wonder if some passenger is on the train and is a TO member can give us some info regarding
the LSL leaving Albany 2 hrs., 12 mins. late

I don't think it left Albany 2 hours and 12 minutes late. The train is only running 34 minutes late now and all stops since Albany can be measured in minutes late not - hours. This may be an issue of human error of entering the wrong time for departure out of Albany.

I heard #49 on the Mohawk scanner feed (which just returned after a 2-month absence) go by CP 184 at about 8:05 pm. Train reported 60 axles by the DED at MP 200.7 - 13 cars (no extra).
