Western Railroad Discussion > LA&SL Action - Manifest at CimaDate: 07/17/14 17:46 LA&SL Action - Manifest at Cima Author: syscom3 I took this video near the top of Cima summit. I'm just a short distance south of peak. Hope you like this. My whole purpose to shoot this train is because of the scenic thunderheads that were forming to the east of here. There's two parts to this as the length is 7 minutes long.
Here are the pics I posted for this. http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,3463160 Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/17/14 17:47 by syscom3. The Cima Store probably did more business on that day than it usually did in a month. At one point, while the E-units were switching to the other end of the train, a herd of cows crossed the tracks. Some of the railfans eyed the nearby signal masts, just in case there was an ill-tempered bull in the bunch, but the bovines were just checking to see if the grass really was greener on the other side. I noticed that they all stepped very carefully OVER the rails, something we occasionally have to remind visitors to the Museum about.
