Great shots. You will love Lightroom once you get the hang of it. (Hint: Use the RAW format when shooting if you're camera supports it).

You had good sun, and obviously good planning for locations and angles. Well done!

From what I could see of the roundhouse in the background it's looking good. Any recent photos of it?

Nice. I see a roundhouse in the picture, is the turntable still there and used?

The roundhouse and machine shops are renovated into a space for community events. The roundhouse is not done yet, but when finished it will house the City of Evanston offices. The turntable is still there and functional. Usually around the first weekend in August they have the Roundhouse festival. A train show free of charge for the public to enjoy model railroading and the facility.

Nice photos Chris, glad folks are posting some photos as I didn't get a chance to chase today like I had hoped. It's been a few years since I've been up to Evanston, the renovated roundhouse sure looks nice.

My two year old still talks about how loud the "choo-choo" was from Sunday when we watched it come in to Ogden. Sure puts her hands over her ears and says "loud" from time to time or if she sees a picture of a train. Think we might be on this kick for a while.

Great photos! I still have never seen this locomotive, being an easterner. I'd love to see it run or ride behind it someday. It's an extremely photogenic engine. No matter what angle you catch it from, it always looks like it's doing 90 mph.

So, this has probably already been mentioned somewhere on TO, but what's with the consist? Only 1 coach?
