I am interested primarily in Steam railroading and historic railroading in the United States. I am fascinated with many if not all railroads during the days of steam, in particular, Norfolk and Western, and Southern. I also have an interest in railroads in PA because of my numerous trips up there to photograph steam, visit museums and ride tourist lines.
In addition, I feel that as tourist lines change or become defunct, they are becoming as much a part of history as the original railroads that they are made to emulate. I am interested in the vanishing tourist railroads and the vintage equipment that in continually displaced and dispersed through out the country. I hope not a single vintage locomotive or coach is ever cut up again, (although I know this is inevitable.) |
