I assume the last scene arriving that the cylinder cocks are open purely for the effects. I do love that R&N runs fast without diesel. It has to be the fastest Santa Steam Special in America!

locomotive, with a really nice whistle. Loved the mood (because I don't live anywhere near where December is dark and dreary). I, too, hope all the steam coming from her cylinders was on purpose, and not a leak. Makes a good effect! I also enjoyed her not having to have a diesel in the consist. The sun did not come out today either ask TJ and I chased the double headed 425 and CNJ 113 on trips from Minersville. Had the sun came out it would have melted all the snow as it was in the high 30's low 40's both days. But high humidity did make for some great steam effects. TJ will have more from today's trips for twice your enjoy.
