Almost got my omi gp38-2b unit finished. Have to install lites and couplers and a bit more weathering...

I think it's a brass model. He mentions omi (Overland Models).

Thanks. when i photographed it in the mid 80's it had half of frisco fan on it...

I have one built out of an Athearn GP-38-2 with a GP-9 nose from a long defunct outfit - can't recall the name but one used to be able to get shells from Proto Power West. A relatively easy bash.

Ah.. you are thinking of the Front Range GP9 shell.

The unit was built for the Frisco.
