... Date: 07/25/09 11:31 Re: UP/CNW Operation Lifesaver Unit Author: UPNW2-1083 Those were great units when they first came out. We got lots of them on the L.A. to Yermo runs. They had lots of power, killer dynamics, great paint scheme, and gave everyone a fantastic show when they shot flames out of the stack! Nice to see one in (almost) original paint.-BMT

Date: 07/25/09 20:32 Re: UP/CNW Operation Lifesaver Unit Author: UPTRAIN I really like that engine in particular because they put the UP patch intended for the inside of the cab over the old CNW number on the side of the cab above the CNW-font model designation. The UP number patch is also barely big enough to cover the CNW ball and bar on the cab side.

Date: 07/26/09 04:55 Re: UP/CNW Operation Lifesaver Unit Author: AaronJ Jeffrey trains are now run with 1 UP and 1 BNSF up front with one UP unit running in DPU mode in the back. This is one of the Jeffrey Energy trains.
