Date: 08/04/17 23:34 Re: Amazon Author: Fizzboy7 Wonder if there would be any terminal or crew handling confusion between these and the PRIME INC trailers. Not every day you see two different companies painting the same name on equipment. For advertising, it should say AMAZON, a name everyone knows.

Persons concerned with the trailer never bother looking at the side of the trailer, only the reporting marks and numbers. Date: 08/05/17 11:11 Re: Amazon Author: goneon66 PHall Wrote:

Their Amazon Prime business has become a monster force
Date: 08/05/17 12:18 Re: Amazon Author: gmojim Months ago we saw new Amazon trailers running eastbound on intermodal that were delivering new from plant south of San Diego , but now they are running west also, so this is Amazon freight in the trailers. The photo looks like intermodal lift pads on the trailer.

I suspect Amazon is looking for leverage against USPS, FDX, UPS BNSF etc to drive down transportation costs. Beating them isn't part of the game plan.
