Western Railroad Discussion > Decades of difference on the Arizona and California RR . .Date: 02/05/25 14:57 Decades of difference on the Arizona and California RR . . Author: 3rdswitch . . . The Arizona and California began in '91, running a Santa Fe secondary main basically east from Cadiz, CA, to Phoenix, AZ, via Parker, AZ. My first encounter was in JAN '92 (top) many more later in JAN '09 (middle) with last encounter in JAN '25 (bottom). All were passing westbound through Rice, CA, population zero, location of a junction with a branch that USED to go south to Blythe, CA.

How was the shoe fence? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/05/25 18:52 by MrChew. Date: 02/05/25 19:01 Re: Decades of difference on the Arizona and California RR . Author: 3rdswitch MOST of the pig business was empty "REPO" trailers. In the begining fews years a few UPS loads were forwarded out of Phoenix on the head end and set out separately at Cadiz for pick up by a train headed for Northern CA and the big UPS North Bay facility. With so much intermodal traveling in containers these days hard to tell?
