Fall images as a last gasp for the contest

Here is the perennial favorite subject of PM photography on the Front Range, long distance local (Denver/Wendover) 597 rounding the curve at MP 17. 597 rarely got Oakways and even more raretly go SD 60M's. Here is is in October '89. . . Joe S.

On a few vacation days in 1988 just to catch fall colors, this was a great catch. Here is a rock train from Buford on the UP which is near 5th and Atwood Streets in Longmont on October 16, 1988. I followed it into Denver getting as many shots as possible with the last one at 64th Avenue. . . Joe S.
