The barriers and signs should be lifted sometime Saturday. On Tuesday the 24th, look for us across from Associated Grocers at South Seattle installing a yard turnout.

What a big difference that small detail made. 2) Building the crossing sign for eastbound traffic. Six tracks including the dead end Amtrak track. Amtrak switches using a track protected by lights just out of view to the left. I wonder how westbound drivers will react when they all end up stopping on five new (dead) tracks. 3) Setting the sign in the hole. Per standard plan, there's four feet of the post below grade! 5) Deflector plates welded and screwed to the ties. 6) The finished product. Date: 10/24/06 07:08 Re: Seattle, WA Holgate Crossing Work Day 12 Author: RAYGUN Thanks for all the great images. Hope to see more.
