Hello-

Coming in just under the wire here for the end of the contest....

1. The Ski Train passes through the east end of Leyden with this 30 second exposure in January 2005.

2. A very late Amtrak 6 comes east out of Plain and enters through Tunnel 1. A few minutes later, it goes around the bend into Clay. August 2006.

3. Amtrak 5 passes between Mounds and Wash on the Green River Sub in Utah. This was a 25 minute exposure at the end of September this year.

Here are three more, this time during the day though!

1. Amtrak 5, running nearly on time, zips west through the Utah Desert just west of Green River. The sun shines on the Book Cliffs in the background. Shot was taken on September 29, 2006.

2. In mid-Colorado, Amtrak 5 moves west between Flat and Troublesome. This Superliner had been recently repainted when this shot was taken in May 2006.

3. UP's ZLADV moves quickly south just north of Brighton, CO in August 2006.

Last one from me this time around...

UP's MNYRO moves slowly up the Price River Canyon on the Provo Sub on Soldier Summit. The three units are pulling in run eight up the 2%+ grade just west of Castle Gate.
