Hello. I was just curious. What are the crew districts on the UP Moffat Tunnel route? Do crews work all of the way between Denver and Grand Junction? Or is there a crew change point in between? What about the coal trains running between Denver and Axial/Energy: where do the crews on these trains change? Finally, where did crews change on the Tennessee Pass route before it was closed?

Before to the UP, SP west crews ran through from Denver to Grand Junction as did DRGW crews after 1987. Bond was the crew change prior on the DRGW for west crews. West crews on the UP now change again at Bond and are taken to P-Burg as the Bond dorm has been closed for a long time and recently was torn down. Coal trains run Denver-Phippsburg and a loading crew takes it to the mines and return to P-Burg. Tennessee Pass crews worked Grand Junction-Minturn-Pueblo.
