BNSF 1232 -- NRE 3GS21B

BNSF 1232 sitting at Temple, Texas in the engine facility. It's an NRE-built 3GS21B. Under the number on the cab is "UNDER WARRANTY 4/2009"

All the gensets are capable of being used in RC service as long as the user railroads sets them up properly. If you mean RC only -- then no, the unit is equipped with a full cab for a reason.
