Working in the Rain
Author: cabcar

The track went out of service between Montclair and South Fontana at 0900 and the crews got to work. Here's a couple from today, of the TRT at work, in the rain.

1) The (Tie Crane?) bringing ties from the front of the train to the rear.

2) A view from the south side, of the TRT 909 at MP523.

3) A view from the north side, of the TRT.

I noticed in the last photo a pair of tie tongs hanging from the machine. One would surmise that sometimes the crew has to go "old school" to deal with situations that don't follow the routine.
