Below is a photo taken earlier this month, showing progress in lengthening two tracks at Cascan "yard", the old GN yard at the south end of town. It is mainly used to hold trains awaiting crews.

Project has been stalled at this stage for several months. For several weeks there was a gondola in town with two pre-fab switches, which I thought was for this project, but they have since departed. Ties are concrete, and appear to be previously used.

Even with the lengthened sidings, still won't be able to hold a "baretable".
