what's it like using remote control
Author: sac

interested to hear from railroaders how they like / dislike using remote control engines for switching. got some harrowing / funny / interesting stories?

i sure would have preferred rco to some of the meathead engineers i've had in the yards. hate to see the job go, tho.

Meathead engineers?

I guess you wouldn't be upset losing your job.

Couldn't be that they were giving you a Meathead response to Meathead hand signs from a Meathead snake, could it?

Sure gonna miss the company and support from the Conductor on those long Pool trips when we go Engineer only on the mainline. What goes around comes around.

Come on guys, something as insignificant as a switchman doesn't warrant a response. :^)
