Vacation Leftovers - BNSF in Portland & KCS in Arkansas
Author: nomosantafe

Here are a few leftovers from my trip to the NW in August. They were accidentally deleted from the memory card. Fortunately, I had not taken any new pictures on the card and I was able to recover them. Memory cards do not erase the images when reformatted, just make it possible to record over the images already there.

I spent a week in the Portland - Vancouver area. Upon my return to Fort Worth, I also took a short weekend car trip to Fort Smith and Hot Springs, Arkansas.

The first 3 photos are taken off the Kittridge Avenue viaduct

2. Z PTLCHC doubling train together at the Lake Yard Intermodal ramp

3. Amtrak train # 513 running late on the big curve with Willbridge Yard in the background

I followed an empty grain train north from Dequeen, Arkansas. It had a solid set of the "retro" KCS black covered hoppers.
