CP likes their GE's and these are slowly being leased out to other companies. This is a hard shot to get nowadays, snow or not.

12-08-07 Lacrosse, WI

On start up, WC didn't have time to repaint everything. So, Some of their famous units lead a Sb train out of Fond Du lac

FP45 F45 and SDL39. Print shot.

Still running around town, a CN relic takes the local around Menasha, WI , last year.

If they like their GE's, why are they leasing them out to others?

Verbiage. The Soo SD60's are being leased out. Sorry I didn't make that clearer.

One has to consider the ages of the ex-CB&Q GP40 when you talk about vanishing breeds. With all the recent SD40-2 retirement, one has to wonder just how long these have?! BNSF #3011 leads the H-NTWGAL out of La Crosse. BNSF #3014 brings an west-bound drag freight into the BNSF North La Crosse yard. GP40X #3038 and a SD9 haul ballast east-bound just south of La Crosse WI.
