UP 1989 trapped by the derailment in Littleton (see Kevin's great reports below)

But WHY DID THEY HAVE TO STOP HERE?!?!?

!^%$#! Salvage yard and bad sun angle and wrong part of a curve. And ditchlights off.

Sigh.

Yeah, that was rough! An engine facing due north on a clear January day in Colorado...there just isn't going to be a great time! Well done though, considering what you had to work with.
