With the weather here in Northern California being just beautiful, and having a rare weekday off, my wife and I decided to hit the tracks. The UP ran a couple, and the BNSF ran many, yet due to terrible dispatching, you could not count on anything to move and when. Yet the one BNSF train we did get was a nice warbonnet on the point. Here are the pictures.

Photo 2 BNSF 784 W at West Gateley.

Photo 3 UP 5118 E at CP RVO20. About a quarter of the sun was below the horizon when this photo was taken. Another 30 seconds and the results would have been different.

CP RV020 is Pinole.
CP RV031 is Ozol, in Martinez.

Love that shot from Pinole!!

The Pinole shot is money! I was in SF shooting Cal Train, but I wish I would have snapped off a few of that K Line stacker.
