This afternoon I was driving East on old hwy 66 between Helendale and Barstow and saw what must have been this train. Train had 2 units cut in about 2/3 of the way back - train went on forever. Ten thousand feet is a very long train indeed!!! Of coourse, it took almost 76 hours to run across the country.
