Fall color progression in North Eastern Missouri.

How are the fall colors progressing between Kansas city and Fort Madison IA on the transcon.
I'm planning a trip down that way around the first week of November. I hope that isn't to late to catch the peak.

The Hard Maples are just starting to fire up. Sycamores are still mostly green, Sumac is flame red in many areas, and the 5 leaf Ivy is turning too, Oaks are showing a few signs of color. The colors seem a little muted this year, and I'd say it will peak in about a week. There might not be much at all left in November, depending on hard frosts and the wind and rain knocking leaves off.

They are looking okay now, however I would wait until after this weekend as I bet the colors will really start to pop then!
