I'm planning a trip down that way around the first week of November. I hope that isn't to late to catch the peak. Date: 10/19/09 10:24 Re: Fall color progression in North Eastern Missouri. Author: sp219 Try this
http://www.weather.com/outlook/driving/fallfoliage/regiondetail/mo2?from=ff_reg_txt sadly I live in Socal so the only red leaves I see are on fire Edited 1 time(s). Sycamores are still mostly green, Sumac is flame red in many areas, and the 5 leaf Ivy is turning too, Oaks are showing a few signs of color. The colors seem a little muted this year, and I'd say it will peak in about a week. There might not be much at all left in November, depending on hard frosts and the wind and rain knocking leaves off.
