Western Railroad Discussion > KCS Christmas TrainDate: 11/30/09 10:50 KCS Christmas Train Author: BNSFDS With the weather in the DFW Metroplex being heavy overcast and cold on Sunday when the KCS's Christmas Train arrived, I decided to hold off until Monday to shoot them. A friend told me the special would leave Wylie heading to Shreveport around 10 a.m. so I got up bright and early (for me anyways) and drove over to the Lake Lavon spillway which is east of CP 198 at East Wylie. Before the special departed, Console 3 decided to turn the MDASH train loose first.
