Western Railroad Discussion > New Ski Train HEP source unit?Date: 12/02/09 10:42 New Ski Train HEP source unit? Author: PumpkinHogger Fresh from Rumor Control -
Loco SLRG 1100 - http://www.drgw.net/gallery/RPCX1100 - has been released from the Relco shop in Albia but as yet unknown what paint scheme has been applied. Heard an E-unit might be what they are going to use, but this kinda puts the kabosh on that. Hope it is lead-qualified. Furthers anyone? Date: 12/02/09 11:05 Re: New Ski Train HEP source unit? Author: NH2006 Nathan Holmes (!#!#$@!, forgot which Nathan posted this on the Colorado Railfan list...) got this from Ed Ellis directly
http://www.drgw.net/gallery/SLRGNews/slrg_1100_repaint "Second up is something that you *won't* be seeing on the Ski Train, but will eventually come to the SLRG. Part of the plan was to use it on the WTLC's Polar Express train this year, then move it to Alamosa for the summer." Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 12/02/09 17:57 by NH2006. Pic is a little dark, so can't see if there is an MU door/connections on the front of the unit, is it to lead as a matter of course? Date: 12/02/09 12:52 Re: New Ski Train HEP source unit? Author: NH2006 Yeah, no MU connections as of the time of the picture...

Both live in southern Colorado. Anyone wonder why I get confused? Date: 12/02/09 19:29 Re: New Ski Train HEP source unit? Author: GPutz It's come even further since '76.
