New Ski Train HEP source unit?
Author: PumpkinHogger

Fresh from Rumor Control -

Loco SLRG 1100 - http://www.drgw.net/gallery/RPCX1100 - has been released from the Relco shop in Albia but as yet unknown what paint scheme has been applied.

Heard an E-unit might be what they are going to use, but this kinda puts the kabosh on that. Hope it is lead-qualified.

Furthers anyone?

Nathan Holmes (!#!#$@!, forgot which Nathan posted this on the Colorado Railfan list...) got this from Ed Ellis directly
http://www.drgw.net/gallery/SLRGNews/slrg_1100_repaint

"Second up is something that you *won't* be seeing on the Ski Train, but
will eventually come to the SLRG. Part of the plan was to use it on the
WTLC's Polar Express train this year, then move it to Alamosa for the
summer."

Kewl thanks

Pic is a little dark, so can't see if there is an MU door/connections on the front of the unit, is it to lead as a matter of course?

The 1100 has come a long way in three years, here she is in Alamosa on Oct 7, 2006.
P.S. Nathan H runs DRGW dot net.

Nathan Z.

Dangit!

I always forget one Nathan is Grande-Fan, the other is drgwnet. Both live in southern Colorado. Anyone wonder why I get confused?
