CP Rail / SOO's line into KC was part of what the IMRL took over about 1997. And now, it's part of the ICE.

OH, yes, there's still that "double double diamond" crossing at grade in Birmingham, MO.
Double main NS crosses double main ICE. Controlled by the NS.

If you see CP power, it will be pooled, and most likely on the BNSF or UP.

ICE does not participate in any run-thru engs at this time. But they sure have a fleet of second, third and fourth-hand SD40-2's! Matter of fact, some of the SD's being repainted this month for the ICE are ex-CP Rails, and I think there may be a couple or more CP Rail painted SD40-2's working the old DM&E line into Winona MN from the west.

I've heard KCS power on the ice as far north as Marquette,IA along the river.
