Western Railroad Discussion > Anybody in California missing a Black Widow?Date: 04/18/10 18:14 Anybody in California missing a Black Widow? Author: burlingtonjohn Thanks to a tip from Q-GP30, I was able to shoot these pictures at the BNSF West Quincy Missouri yards this evening and still make it home in time for the Cardinals game. Life is good.

And are there three NWP/Black Widow SD9s still running? (Yes we have one here in Colorado) Date: 04/18/10 18:43 Re: Anybody in California missing a Black Widow? Author: burlingtonjohn NH2006 Wrote:

When the phone rang, figured it was worth the effort to make the short run to West Quincy to shoot the engine ... only regret that it was dead ... Regards, Burlington John Date: 04/18/10 18:54 Re: Anybody in California missing a Black Widow? Author: NH2006 So there are two Omnitrax ones, one former one in California?? (Black Widow SD-9E-#5472 nee NWP Omitrax #4423), one still Omnitrax (OMLX 4327) here in Colorado, and this one?
And 4324 disappeared a few years ago, perhaps CRGX 100 is it? http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,1210353 Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/18/10 18:56 by NH2006. The fine folks at the NCRY completely repainted NWP 4423 into Southern Pacific-lettered black widow paint with full light packages and the number 5472. It is most definitely not the unit that became CGRY 100. |
