This is what it is all about. My family and I chased this train out of town as it picked up speed. The crew knew we were chasing them and as the train sped up they opened the window and waved us on, as if to hurry. We sped up and got about a half mile ahead. Just in time to jump out and snap this shot of UP C44ACCTE number 5872. My child was just thrilled as they blew that whistle a little extra and right after I took the photo opened the window and waved. Encouraging future generations to love trains as I do. This was near Mission Oregon headed for the Blue Mountains with another 100 car train.
