BNSF 2010 Railpax train
Author: nikon1

Today, the BNSF ran their yearly Ralpax train but, instead of going to Emporia, the train ran east to De Soto, KS. Ten worthless points if anyone can notice the oddity on 7276.

3)Sitting at the Topeka depot after detraing the passengers waiting permission for a back up move to the coach shops.

That green plow sort of stands out.

The green snow plow, and it has a FRED on it also.

Not too odd for a pull-pull passenger train.

The green plow is the oddity and the EOT is common on business trains that operate in push pull mode.

the fact that on the bnsf swoosh paint they used black instead of green when they changed the image says to me that this is eather a replacement plow or there was a paint change

I do believe that the 7276 was release from the shops with a replacement plow due to some damage.

Apologies for being the ignorant guy, but what is the Railpax train?

It looks like 7626, not 7276, and the rest of that group is horribly faded. Was this unit repainted fully ?

Not Railpax, but RailPAC... as in Political Action Comittee.

A goody passed out by BNSF management to those exempt employees who donate a portion of their wages to a national railroad lobbying group--the guys who grease the politicians and get more influence than the average voter.

I don't think union members are invited to join--afterall, what's good for management usually isn't good for the worker bee.
