Time for the Spring Loop Snake Warning...

I came across one on the west side of Walong yesterday, laying on the ballast in the shade of the large tree, just north of the hill people watch trains from. Just a baby one stretched out, but it had a diamond pattern, I didnt stick around that area....

I passed one on Tehachapi-Woodford Road a week ago that was about 4' long. Two cowboys were working it over as I went by.

You'd think a cowboy would have something better to do than work a snake. Maybe the snakes presence is merely natural selection. Can't have too many foamers out there.
