"Man, that chick on the left as some nice headlights", as does the girl in the middle!
BTW, would security consider this trespassing today, or just a couple railfans having fun?

I was over at the GGRM on Sunday and saw a poster for the Suntan, cost $ 2.25 round trip in 1950, approx $ 20.00 today. Did they make any money on the run?

I rode a couple of those in 1957-58. Coming home at night was mayhem....too many drinks, lots of broken windows. Somewhere I have a stack of brochures that I picked up in Redwood City for the train.

After 1940 which is when the mountain was closed, WJ. can't speak for prior to 1940 however...

Scroll up a little bit and you can see by the timetable it ran over the mountain before that route was closed.

Just thought I would let everybody know that in Santa Cruz county (and the city) it is ok for ladies to not wear a top when it is hot, just like the men......
