. . some short lines encountered;
top: South Kansas and Oklahoma at exFrisco yard Neodesha, KS.
middle: a nice surprise as this SKO job was working on a sunday in Cherryvale, KS with exFrisco engine sanding tower still standing in distance.
bottom: an overall of Missouri and Northern Arkansas facility in Carthage, MO.

. . a couple of DeQueen and Eastern units used for switching at the large paper facility in Valliant, OK.
middle: one of many Kiamichi units in storage in Hugo, OK.
bottom: set of four "smurfs" ( I think these are MK2000D's? ) that will power this afternoons turn west out of Hugo to Madill, OK.

Nice to see these away from the mainline, not usually seen shortline/industrial shots. I wonder how many other units have had a letter and number like the DQ&E units? Hate to see the "gen-sets" invade, takes away the character of the older power.

My youngest son and I both work at the factory just south of the 1333 in Wichita. We've nicknamed it the Gen. Lee.
