KCS Eco Twins at Plano TX
Author: KB5WK

The KCS Wylie yard job. LWY-101 is the symbol. This train runs from Wylie TX to BNSF Alliance yard in Haslet TX. Lately been leaving Wylie around 7 pm and and returning back to Wylie around 1 am. KCS 2601 and 2600 have been the usual power for this train almost 2 years now. Ex TFM SDP40's now SD22ECO's.

1) KCS 2600 east bound at Murphy TX around 9:30 am on 05/13/11 Friday 13th crossing FM 544.

2) Video from my iPhone 4 today 05/19/11 of KCS 2601/2600 west bound crossing Avenue K in Plano TX on a cloudy overcast day. I had only seconds to setup for this video as the train was in sight, and I used my cell phone case holder clipped to my vehicles sun visor to shoot the video.

Great shot of the twins at Murphy, TX.

I could shoot a set like that every day at a different location and never get tired of them.

After looking at your pics, I realized just how much of a blunder BNSF made in adopting their Heritage schemes. The Southern Belle livery, much like the Warbonnets, is an immediate attention-getter.
