Does anyone have any news on the Coos Bay Line that was supposed to be ready to re-open at the end of spring? Will be nice to see a new operator run the reconditioned line!!

Only news I can see coming is UP has a unit center beam train planned to run west tonight to Eugene and presumably the Coos Bay Branch. The INP RR just brought a huge cut of cars into town today. Right now the power is a SD60M and AC44.

Just seen this link saying partial service will begin in July, full service in the fall.
