Where did you see it? Its prob the empty off of the grand trunk, if it is a detx then its a detroit edison empty from ns or csx and if it had bnsf older cars you see on the birmingham ore train its an empty from an indiana steel mill on its way back to the ore fields in mn via the cameron connection and the barstow sub. The detx and grand trunk loads go via the mendota sub. The empty trains come off the ihb at mccook.

Saw it in Chillicothe IL. I believe the hoppers had FSPX reporting marks.

That was either the E CGKETM001A or the E CGKBTM012A. They are two different trains on the lineup out of Galesburg, but they cant figure out which one is which. I asked a friend who works for the BNSF out there and he said a lot of times the coal empties off of the CN(GTW) will get on the Chilli sub at McCook off the IHB.
