In a typical 24 hour period, how many trains through Fort Madison on the BNSF trans con line? Thanks.

Is say about 70 on Thursday Friday and sat. Rest of the week about 55 to 65. Then u have the Bnsf hannibal sub about 10 aday.

Enjoy! But stay off the bridge unless you get BNSF permission first. Still friendly around the depot, though.

If you mean the swing bridge, you are correct. There
are, however, other bridges in town that you can use,
one over the center of the yard west of the depot.
