Railfaning near Darien Lake N.Y.

I will be in the Darien Lake N.Y. area in the middle of august and was wondering if there are any good spots close by to take in some action?
What are the busy days?

Hey Sparkey,
Take route 77 north to Corfu about 3 miles away. You will go under the CSX main Line between Buffalo and points east. As soon as you duck under the mainline turn right and there is plenty of safe parking right along the tracks.
Trains really move through here! Also, take 77 south to Darien Center to the old Erie mainline.
Work your way over to Attica and check out the prison. Impressive site.
