nice - SP 2 AC's pooling for the BNSF at Commerce! See,s lioke UP is giving them a lot of their AC's for power hours owed. We have seen a few UP and SP AC's up here coming into Richmond.

How was the Gold Line ride? Was trying to make it down but guess I will try to make it next weekend. Never took a ride on Amtrak on the ATSF second sub so looking forward to this 13 mile light rail extension...

I'd stay tuned to the Amtrak/Transit Board here to see what ridership is like on the Gold Line. I liked it but the crowds were too much for me. Plus, I'm sore from all the walking I did to the Whistle Stop hobby shop in Pasadena. I saw some Athearn Genesis Auto-MAX cars there and REALLY wanted to buy one. I hope the ridership stays strong for the line, I think that the MTA could have a real winner here.
