SB Tehachapi Grain
Author: jc76

Has there been many of those loaded SB grain trains over Tehachapi lately? How big do they usually run and what is there destination?.... I have yet to see a picture of one.

(I am asking about the SB loads, not the common north bounders)

Thanks for any info guys (& gals).... :)

I always figured the south bounds were the empties going back,They don't have half the power the north bounds do.Northbound has 9 locos most of the time 4 up front 3 mid and 2 on the end. The south bound will come through with 4 on the point and 1 at the rear
