Caught this ex Rio Grande unit in Pueblo Co the other day. This is the ex DRGW 3121, now the UP 1344. Doesn't seem to be too bad of a re-paint, tho I'd much rather see it in DRGW Black & Gold. Anyone know what it's repaint to UP colors is? Looks like some "dental work" was done on the jaw of her. Pueblo Co 01/15/2012. B

That is a fine looking engine! Hard to believe they never renumbered 5245--she's also a Grande alumnus, and a very early repaint. Anybody else glad UP uses those Prime air conditioners instead of the RV type units BNSF chooses?
