Fresh NS 8096
Author: ATSF2921

I stopped at MAC on the way home from work and found NS 8096 sitting out waiting for pickup. Both shots taken with my iphone4s.

1 - NS 8096 enjoying the early evening sun.

2 - Mostly nose shot. Pardon my shadow ;-)

Thanks for smelling the paint!

Number boards are odd in number placement.

Ge cab sections are pre-fabricated so that would be where normal railroads put the headlights...

Here's my take on her, plus a shot of the nose notch. Good to see you out there Russell.

Mid-America Car shop in Kansas City, MO. They do a ton of contract paint, body and mechanical work. Here's a shot of the next two out.

Looks like a switch lock in the box for the front door.

It looks like they did a great job on the paint, but a poor one on the numberboards. It appears they didn't use a straight edge.

Can't blame MAC for the numberboards. They were shipped from GE that way.
