Today's H DENLAU whistles down Mason St. in Fort Collins, CO, in front of the "Mayor of Old Town" restaurant, with a green "MAX is on the way" sign in front of it. In this instance, perhaps it should read "MAC" is on the way". I guess some of the Mason St. changes bandied about for years are really on their way this summer this time, and BNSF's Signal Department is already installing larger signal houses and new crossing signal locations to make the street two-way again, after many years of being one-way. The "MAX" referred to on the green sign next to the Grinstein Green - flavored SD70MAC is a catch-term for the future transit buses that will ply up and down this ex-C&S railroad corridor, as previously reported by NH2006. === === = === JLH
