Western Railroad Discussion > MEGA BNSF track inspection train spottedDate: 04/11/12 18:02 MEGA BNSF track inspection train spotted Author: burlingtonjohn http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,2737784
Was on my way to Quincy Illinois this evening at about 1800 ... spotted the profile of something strange in the West Quincy Missouri yards ... It was the Rio Grande River. Upon closer inspection, it was the aforementioned track inspection train split into two ... Otis, 85, 86 were behind the 81 and Rio Grand River. Both sets had their own locomotive (don't remember the numbers, gimme a sec and I'll get the pictures uploaded). Both engines were dead, but the generators on the cars were humming. Don't know where they will head tomorrow ... south on the K Line or west on the Brookfield main?
