An 844 Kind of Day
Author: railtime

When the 844 was crossing on the KP I made a point to free up a couple of days and follow it from the land of Ah's back to the Colorful state.

I had the good fortune to catch the 4449 (in AFT attire) in North Hollywood.
At track speed.
No whistle, no bell; just that 90˚ beat.
A treasured memory.

I was going to write the same thing. Is it 1980 or 2012? Parts and tape are very hard to come by.
